The JCB 155 radial-lift skid steer loader with small platform has a rated operating capacity of 703 kg and incorporates our exclusive single arm and side-entry cab.

The 44.7 kW Perkins engine fitted to the 155 offers fully proven characteristics; it has been designed in the USA, the birthplace of the skid steer, to provide the highest level of comfort, safety, economy, productivity and durability.

The 155 provides, on average, 60% more visibility and 46% more cab space than compact skid steer loaders from other manufacturers, in addition to many other benefits. Such as ergonomic controls, an extremely strong powerful arm and low operating cost.

Operator comfort

Keeping operators comfortable, alert and productive is paramount; that is why we designed the 155 skid steer with a cab that is 46% more spacious than that of the nearest competitor's model

• The standard seat features mechanical suspension and a 12 V charger, easy-to-read control panels and an electronic hand throttle.
• The electric controls make operation smooth and intuitive; after all, we want the JCB 155 skid steer to be operators' favorite for comfort.

Ease of maintenance

We designed the JCB 155 skid steer to make maintenance easy and ensure the least possible downtime. First, the longitudinally mounted engine allows easy access to the drive belt and associated components. In addition, there are 30% fewer grease points than on a conventional twin-arm vertical-lift skid steer loader.

• We have installed front and rear chassis clean-out plates, with a fluid drain point at the rear, as well as O-rings on all hydraulic connections. Excellent service access through the rear service door and the damped tilting cooling system.
• Given this, it is no surprise that this small-platform compact skid steer loader has, on average, 21% easier maintenance than machines from other brands, according to SAE maintenance audit ratings. And there is more.

Safety

The JCB 155 skid steer loader has been designed with safety as the top priority. The exclusive PowerBoom single load-arm design allows operators to access the machine from one side, avoiding the danger of slips or crushing, as well as contact with the load arm or its attachments.

• It offers 60% more visibility than a common skid steer loader thanks, in part, to the unique low-profile rear tower and the absence of the large rear torque tube that is commonly used.
• It has a front windshield that folds down to serve as an emergency exit and a standard rear-view mirror. In addition, the fuel tank is integrated into the skid steer chassis for greater protection and the hoses are located inside the PowerBoom arm to prevent possible damage.
